AutoCAD Technician

KEITH is seeking an AutoCAD Technician in our Pompano Beach, FL office. We are looking for positive individuals to fit our energetic culture. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and updating of engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Support design staff with drafting tasks for civil engineering, land development, utility, and infrastructure projects.
• Make revisions to drawings based on redlines and feedback from engineers and project managers.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining electronic project files and CAD libraries.
• Help incorporate field data, sketches, and markups into CAD drawings under supervision.
• Provide general drafting support to engineering and design teams as needed.
• Learn and apply company CAD standards and drafting best practices through on-the-job training.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; willingness to learn and improve skills is essential.
• Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong interest in civil engineering drafting and design.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering sketches and markups.
• Basic PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude in a team environment.
• Ability to take direction, ask questions, and manage assigned tasks.
• Associate degree or technical certification in CAD Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred, but not required.
• Internship, coursework, or limited professional experience in CAD is a plus.
