KEITH is looking for a Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Pompano Beach, FL. We are looking for positive individuals to fit our energetic culture. What you'll do:
The Project Controls Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by assisting the executive leadership and project management team in managing project scheduling, accounting, and documentation.
Project Scheduling:
- Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Coordinate with PMs to monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and conflicts.
Project Accounting:
- Responsible for project billing, accounts receivable and consultant billing.
- Assist in the development of project proposals with project team
- Assist in tracking project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Project Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
- Ensure all project documents are organized and accessible.
- Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation.
What you'll need:
This position requires a strong background in finance, accounting, or administration, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and forward-learning environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project controls, scheduling, accounting, documentation or a related role within Engineering, Architecture, or Construction industry.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and financial management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment.
